Collegedale Little League & Summer Softball

 

Summer Softball

The Junior Boys Division is for boys in grades 6-8 and is player-pitched using an 11-inch softball. 

Grades 9-12 play in the modified fast-pitch Senior Boys Division using a 12-inch softball. 

Girls Division is slow-pitch, geared for girls grades 7-12 using an 11- inch softball.

 

 

 

The Adult League consists of a men's league with A-level and B-level of play and a women’s league. This league begins after July 4.

Little League

This league starts with co-ed Intro to Baseball for ages 5-7 using a low impact, soft baseball.   The score is not kept at this training level.  Players hit off a tee or are pitched to by their own coach.

The next level, Junior Baseball, is for ages 8-9. These co-ed teams are pitched to by their coach using a standard size baseball. Clinic/Tryouts are required.

The co-ed Intermediate Division begins at age 10.  Boys play through 5th grade and girls through 6th grade, at which time they move up to the next league.  An 11-inch softball is used and is pitched by the coach.  This division concludes their season with an All-Star game and tournament. Clinic/Tryouts are required..

The Collegedale Softball league exists to provide children and adults in the Collegedale area a fun, Christian based environment in which to play ball.
